Introduction
- Clip Web Articles — Save any web article to your library for later reading with one click. Requires the Koodo Reader desktop version to be installed. Articles are saved as HTML files in your library.
- Bypass Web Limitations — Due to restrictions with WebDAV and S3-compatible storage, you may be unable to sync or import books through these data sources in the browser. Install this extension to work around those limitations on the Koodo Reader web app.

Installation
Currently, the browser extension has not been listed on official stores. You need to manually install it and enable developer mode in your browser.
- Download the extension package: visit Releases · koodo-reader/extension and download the latest version.
- Extract the downloaded package to a local folder.
- Enter
chrome://extensionsin your browser's address bar.
- Turn on "Developer mode" (usually in the top right corner).
- Click the "Load unpacked" button.
- Select the folder you extracted in step 2.
- The installation is now complete.
Usage Notes
- This browser extension is enabled by default on the official web version of Koodo Reader.
- After the initial installation, you'll need to refresh the web pagefor the changes to take effect.
- If you are using a self‑hosted Docker version, you need to click the extension icon in the browser toolbar and manually enable it.
